The effectiveness of health care is maximized through increased patient flow capacity; by functional and purposeful design and layout. To more accurately assess the social, environmental and financial impact of our health care facilities we will conduct a Triple Bottom Line to quantify costs and revenues of our hospitals, and finally, develop a business plan for individual facilities. We have been able to devise a design that, on the one hand, provides, installs, and maintains a product- ready for delivery and, on the other hand, holistically accommodates a wide range of environmental and infrastructure requirements. We accompany the client over the entire lifespan of the building until demolition, in a cradle-to-cradle pro- cess in which no resources are wasted.
As part of the new Sustainable Development Agenda, on September 25, 2015, all members of the United Nations agreed to commit to a set of goals to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure collective well-being. Each goal includes specific targets to be achieved within the next 15 years, and with our project we want to contribute to that development. The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals have immediate relevance for us. That is why we support this vision in the design of the sustainable hospital.
